Russian cosmonaut Anton Shpalerov, who is currently working with his colleague Pyotr Dubov on the space station, suggested that Muscovites watch the manned “Soyuz” flight in the sky of the capital.
The astronaut recalled that the manned “Korolev” (Soyuz-MS-21) spacecraft will launch today at 18:55 Moscow time with the 3 Russian cosmonauts to the International Space Station.
He said, “We will not only watch the live television broadcast of the launch of the manned vehicle, but we will also monitor the launch of the missile from Baikonur Airport, over which the space station will fly at the time of launch.”
As for residents of central and southern Russia, they can watch the flight of the spacecraft and the space station together in the night sky between 20.24 and 20.28 Moscow time.
It is noteworthy that the “Soyuz-2.1A” rocket will launch with the manned vehicle to the space station today at 18.55 Moscow time from the Russian “Baikonur” cosmodrome, and the manned vehicle will dock with the space station after 10 pm on the same day.
