Analyzes in the Meteorological Department indicate that cold air continues to flow towards the Kingdom, coming from eastern Europe through Turkey, and reaching the eastern basin of the Mediterranean.

The Director of the Meteorological Department, Raed Al Khattab, said that during the next week, temperatures in various regions of the Kingdom will remain below their rates for such a time, and the temperature may drop by the middle of the week below its rates by about 8 degrees.

He added, that the feeling of cold will continue today and during the next week, interspersed with rain at separate times, especially since the Kingdom will be in a state of turbulence in the atmosphere from Monday, which is expected to continue until the end of next week.

Al-Khattab indicated that there are preliminary indications, which are within the immediate follow-up, as it is expected that we will witness showers next Wednesday, and as a result of the high cold in all layers of the atmosphere, rain showers may fall, sometimes over high mountains mixed with snow.
