A delegation from the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood, led by the observer-general of the group, Engineer Abdul Hamid Al-Thneibat, visited the preacher Sheikh Al-Hajj Saad Al-Din Al-Zamili (Abu Bashir), who is considered one of the first generations of the Muslim Brotherhood.

In turn, the observer general of the Muslim Brotherhood and the accompanying delegation of members of the Executive Office, which included: Professor Saud Abu Mahfouz, Dr. Saed Al-Damour, Dr. Muhammad Qutaishat, and lawyer Hossam Al-Hourani, praised the advocacy and charitable role of Sheikh Abu Bashir over the years of his existence in the Brotherhood’s call. He said: “Today we honor a scholar of the call and a pioneer of charitable work in Jordan.”

He added: “Sheikh Abu Bashir is considered one of the men of the first generation of the group from the founding generation, who accompanied the call in its various stages, especially the stage of establishment and beginnings.

In turn, Sheikh Al-Hajj Abu Bashir valued the visit to the members of the group’s executive office, calling for moving forward in serving Jordan and the nation’s issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, expressing his happiness at the Brotherhood’s leadership delegation’s visit to his home.

At the end of the visit, the observer general of the Muslim Brotherhood Al-Thneibat presented an honorary shield to Sheikh Al-Hajj Saad Al-Din Al-Zamili in gratitude from the Brotherhood for his great efforts and his pioneering role in advocacy within the ranks of the Brotherhood.

It is noteworthy that Hajj Saad Eddin Abd al-Salam Ibrahim al-Zamili (Abu Bashir) was born in Gaza in the twenties of the last century, and then moved to live in Amman. He is a founding member of the Islamic Charitable Center Association since its establishment and headed the association in 2006, one of the pioneers of charitable work in Jordan.

Al-Hajj Saad Al-Din Al-Zamili in brief:

A member of more than one charitable organization, such as the Zakat Committee in support of the Palestinian people and the Gaza Hashem Association.

The last elected president of the Islamic Center Charitable Society before the government got its hands on the association.

One of the pioneers in supporting all charitable activities.

He has six children (Bashir, Anwar, Munther, Amer, Yasser and Muhammad), most of whom work in the voluntary field is the late Munther, who passed away due to complications from the Corona virus.

He works in the field of scouting in general, and Hajj Saad El-Din Al-Zamili supports volunteer work.

Al-Hajj Saad Al-Din Al-Zamili Mosque was built in the early eighties and he is working on its service and care.

Al-Zmaili is one of the founders of Al-Radwan Schools in Jordan.
