Customs cadres working at Jaber Customs Center, in cooperation and coordination with the security services and the Narcotics Control Department, thwarted the smuggling of 228 kg of narcotic pills that were found during a thorough inspection of two trucks coming from a neighboring Arab country.

In the details, it was suspected that the first truck was loaded with rolls (plastic pipes), as it was subjected to an x-ray machine, during which (148) kg of narcotic Captagon pills were seized, amounting to (888000) thousand pills.

The other truck was also searched, and approximately (80) kg of 480,000 narcotic pills were found, which were seized in secret caches inside the body of the truck.

Immediately, a fundamental seizure report was organized with the seized quantity and handed over to the Jaber Branch Anti-Narcotics Department, and the trucks and drivers were kept pending the completion of the investigation procedures.
