Third plane to evacuate 75 Jordanians from Ukraine

On Friday morning, the third plane of the Royal Jordanian Air Force took off, heading to the Polish capital, Warsaw, to evacuate about 75 Jordanians and their families, who crossed the border from Ukraine, most of them from Sumy, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs said in a press statement: “The Crisis Cell in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs continued coordinating, throughout yesterday (Thursday) and last night, with the various Jordanian authorities concerned, led by the General Command of the Armed Forces / Royal Air Force Command, and the National Center For Security and Crisis Management, the Jordanian Embassy in Germany (accredited to Poland) and the Ministry’s employees located in Warsaw and on a number of border crossings separating Ukraine and Poland, for the purposes of organizing and facilitating the departure of Jordanian citizens and their families from Warsaw to the Kingdom.
Under royal directives, two military planes from the Royal Jordanian Air Force were flown to Bucharest and Budapest, last week, to evacuate (140) Jordanians and their families from Ukraine.
They are expected to arrive on Friday afternoon. The plane was accompanied by an ambassador from the ministry, to coordinate and facilitate the evacuation and transport process in coordination with the embassy in Berlin.
