A young man strangled his sister last night in Madaba governorate, according to a security source.

The source told the Jordan News Online that a young man in his thirties had killed his sister in the Al-Taym area in Madaba governorate, following family disputes.

The source added that the body was taken to Al-Bashir Hospital for examination, while the security services arrested the culprit.

He explained that an extensive investigation was opened to find out the details and circumstances of the crime.
