Oil prices rose in the US global market, today, Friday, to resume the gains that were halted over the previous day, as part of corrections from the highest level in 14 years. The rise comes amid mounting doubts about the success of bringing in more supply, if Russian oil is actually banned, as well as little progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, according to the Wall Street Journal. During today’s trading, US crude rose by 2.75 percent to the level of $ 108.83, from the opening level at $ 105.91, and recorded the lowest level at $ 104.53, and Brent crude rose by 3.3 percent to the level of $ 112.74 a barrel, from the opening level at $ 109.16, and recorded the lowest A level at $107.23. -(Petra)
