And the media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate indicated that the cadres of the Drug Enforcement Administration thwarted at Queen Alia International Airport an attempt to smuggle 2 kg of cocaine inside the guts of two people of foreign nationality.
In the details, the media spokesperson said that the Narcotics Control Department followed up information it had about the intention of two foreigners coming through Queen Alia International Airport to smuggle a large amount of narcotic drugs, as the date of the arrival of the two suspects was set and they were arrested as soon as they tried to enter the Kingdom.
After inspecting them and examining them by means of the necessary devices, it was discovered that there were quantities of narcotic substances inside their guts, and these substances were removed by medical methods, and they were estimated at 2 kg of cocaine.

The media spokesman confirmed that, following the investigation, the identity of the person receiving the narcotic substances inside the Kingdom was identified, and he is of Arab nationality, and he was arrested, and the case was deposited with the State Security Court prosecutor.
