Al-Hussein Irbid team won, on Sunday evening, the ticket to qualify for the semi-finals of the Union Shield Championship, after winning two goals without a response, against the Al-Salt team, in the meeting that brought them together at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.

The two goals of the invaders came through two stars, Fares Ghatasha, with the “27” minute, and Hegazy Maher with the “39th” minute. Thus, the score of the invaders rose to 5 points at the top of the first group, ahead of the goal difference from the Aqaba youth team, which is waiting for its fate to compete for the second best card.

Tomorrow, Monday, the rest of the third round matches will be completed with two matches from the second group, where Al Wehdat and Al Faisaly meet, while Al Jazira and Maan meet.

It is noteworthy that all shield matches are held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.
