Weather maps issued today, Saturday, indicate that the Kingdom and all countries of the Levant will be exposed to a polar depression during the period from 12 to 14 of this month, that is, from Saturday to the next Monday.

According to meteorologists, with whom “Jordan News” contacted, most models indicated a strong polar descent during the mentioned period, but it takes about two days to confirm the air depression and its strength.

They stressed that, according to the initial data, the depression will be similar to the snowy depression that affected the Kingdom at the end of the month, and it may develop further.

In the event that the depression deepens more than it is so far, the depression will be in the form of multiple cold air fronts, and the snow will reach the middle heights.

They pointed out that the weather maps should be carefully monitored during the next two days to clarify the strength of the depression and the extent of its impact on the Kingdom.
