The number of voters in the electrical engineering division elections in the Jordanian Engineers Association reached 2,228 male and female engineers as of two o’clock this afternoon, Friday.

The head of the Election Management Committee, the Secretary-General of the Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Ali Nasser, said in a press statement that the electoral process is going well in the main center in Amman and all the union branches in the governorates.

The number of paid engineers who are eligible to vote is 2010, where 8 out of 7 candidates are competing for the divisional council elections for the council’s membership, while 22 candidates are competing for the central body elections out of 20 for the central body’s membership.

It is noteworthy that the elections for the Electrical Division of the Jordanian Engineers Association, for the twenty-ninth session 2022-2025, started this Friday morning, to choose the members of the Division’s Council, where the Division’s engineers will elect their representatives, while the Divisions of Chemical Engineering and Architecture Divisions and their Central Commission won by acclamation.
