The Public Security Directorate warned citizens of the danger of weather changes on Thursday, calling for the need to exercise caution during the depression expected at the end of this week.

The directorate stressed the need to follow the following tips and guidelines:

• Be careful while driving, especially on external roads that may witness the formation of dust and dust-laden winds.

• Installing objects that can be blown by the wind, such as panels and metal sheets, on the roofs of houses.

• Staying away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents and water gatherings form, and not to risk cutting off the road in case the water level rises.

• Safe use of heating devices of all kinds and provision of appropriate ventilation from time to time.

• Call the unified emergency number (911) if the need arises.
