The atmosphere prevailing in the Kingdom turned dusty with the hours of Wednesday evening; Due to the activity of the southeast wind throughout the day.

According to the MENA Weather platform, the weather is expected to gradually turn south and then southwest during the night, with a gradual increase in speed in various regions.

Tomorrow, Thursday, the depression is expected to deepen and become classified as “deep depression,” according to the World Meteorological Organization and the Jordan Meteorological Department, so that the depression will move towards the east and north-east, as the Kingdom crosses a cold air front during the day.

The wind becomes strong with strong gusts sometimes; As a result of the deepening in the center of the depression and the convergence of atmospheric pressure lines around the depression.

Despite the depth of the depression, the chance of rain is “rather fast” and is limited to the northern and central regions of Jordan; Because of the dimension of the upper depression (the cold mass), which is centered over northern Turkey and the Black Sea and affects the shape of an extension of the air depression in the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere.

Tomorrow morning, a gradual intensification of wind speed is also expected to become strong, with strong gusts at times, which may reach (90-100) km/h, especially during the afternoon and afternoon periods, with the start of crossing the cold front.

Low and medium clouds multiply with the morning hours, as the opportunity is gradually prepared for local rain showers (in the form of local instability) in the western strip of the Kingdom (from the north to Karak and Tafileh), but for a limited and quick period.

It is expected that the main front will cross before noon Thursday in the north and center of the Kingdom, as the weather becomes stormy and rainy in those areas, with a weak chance of scattered and local rain showers in the Karak Governorate.

It is also expected that the rain will be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and hail with the onset of the cold air front; Because of the large thermal differences between cold and warm mass.

With the evening and night hours tomorrow, the chances of precipitation will gradually weaken and become in the form of scattered rain, with the continuation of brisk brisk winds with strong gusts at times, and a gradual weakening of the wind is expected after midnight until the early hours of Friday.

The weather in the rest of the Kingdom will be windy and cold, with strong sandstorms forming in the south and east of the Kingdom; “Therefore, please beware of the danger of a lack of horizontal visibility on external roads throughout the day on Thursday and Thursday night on Friday.”

As for temperatures, it is expected that there will be a significant decrease in them in various regions, and it is expected that the highest will be recorded before crossing the front accompanying the air depression (during the night), as it decreases significantly with the morning and noon hours, and may reach noon to between (8-10) degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman.

During the night, the weather is expected to be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy at times, and the opportunity remains for local rain showers in the north and center of the Kingdom, with brisk northwesterly winds.

On Friday, the Kingdom will remain under the influence of the remnants of the cold air mass, as the weather will be cold and partly cloudy with a weak chance of local and limited rain showers in the north of the Kingdom, with moderate northwest winds.

It is expected that Friday temperatures in Amman will be between (10-12) degrees Celsius, in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba between (18-21) degrees Celsius, and in the mountainous heights between (7-9) degrees Celsius.

And until Saturday and Sunday, as it is expected that the Kingdom will be affected by the five-year conditions at the beginning of the impact of the first of the five-year depressions; “As an example, a significant increase in temperature, followed by a significant decrease, and an opportunity for some rain showers.”
