“Agriculture”: a central market for fish soon in Amman

The media spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture, Lawrence Majali, revealed that the announcement of a central fish market in the capital, Amman, is imminent.
Al-Majali added, in the context of his speech to the “Voice of the Kingdom” program, on the “Kingdom” screen, today, Wednesday, that in the coming days, an agreement for this market will be signed with the Greater Amman Municipality, indicating that a location for this market has been identified.
He pointed out that 34,000 dunams, 818 dunums and 2,500 greenhouses were damaged due to the frost in the Kingdom.
Al-Majali continued: For the first time, agricultural production inputs were liberated, and for the first time in the history of the Ministry of Agriculture, 500 direct jobs were appointed as agricultural engineers and veterinarians.
He pointed out that the ministry has moved its work from the idea to the market and the search for higher value crops.
