Twenty-two people were injured, as a result of a road accident involving a coaster bus before the Jerash Seil station on the Irbid-Amman road, according to the Department of Foreign Patrols.

The external patrols described the injuries as moderate, noting that the injured were treated, while the patrols are working to remove obstacles from the site.

For his part, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that rescue and ambulance cadres in the Jerash Civil Defense Directorate dealt today with a deteriorating accident on a medium passenger bus after the Jerash torrent towards Irbid.

As a result of the accident, 22 people were injured and bruised throughout the body. The ambulance teams worked to provide the necessary first aid to the injured at the scene of the accident and then transferred them to Jerash Governmental Hospital and Prince Hussein Governmental Hospital to receive the necessary treatment. A traffic investigation was opened for the accident.
