Representative Saleh Al-Armouti called for cell phones to be turned off during parliament sessions, as they are a source of disturbance and confusion for the deputies.

Al-Armouti called on Parliament Speaker Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi to take action regarding cell phones, but Al-Daghmi said that “closing the phones will push the deputies out of the parliament to use the phone, and therefore we will lose the quorum.”
