Compass – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs said that as part of the Ministry’s tireless efforts and follow-up on the situation of Jordanians in Ukraine, the Crisis Cell in the Ministry’s Operations Center unit, in coordination with all the various Jordanian authorities and institutions, continues its work around the clock, by maintaining contacts with Jordanians inside Ukraine, and receiving their contacts and reassure them, and guide them to ensure their safety and security.
She added, in a press statement, that the number of Jordanians who crossed the borders from Ukraine towards Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Moldova reached 100, and they were immediately dealt with by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs present at the border points, and they were provided with basic needs, and consular documents were issued. Necessary for those who need them, and means of transportation were secured by buses or through trains, for those who need suitable accommodation, in addition to securing them to airports to facilitate their return to the Kingdom.
She pointed out that today, eight people will arrive in the Kingdom from the capital, Budapest, in addition to nine people coming from the capital, Bucharest, while one Jordanian arrived yesterday in the city of Aqaba.
