The technology giant Sony revealed the design of its new virtual reality helmet that it designed to work with PlayStation 5 platforms.

The new helmet comes with a structure made of durable and lightweight plastic, and flexible rubber tires are installed on the edges of the structure that make wearing the helmet comfortable on the user’s forehead.

The PlayStation VR2 has two OLED HDR displays with a resolution of (2040/2000) pixels, frequencies of 90-120 Hz, and providing a field of view of 110 degrees.

This helmet has got distinctively designed control grips equipped with keys and vibration devices that give the user an excellent interactive feeling while playing, as well as 4 cameras to combine surrounding images with video games through virtual reality techniques, in addition to a special lens to track the user’s eye movements.

Sony has equipped it with a 3.5 mm headphone port, high-performance microphones, a headphone with excellent audio technologies, and a cable to connect to PlayStation platforms.
