Compass – Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Wajih Owais, said that the ministry, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, is ready to provide all facilities for Jordanian students studying in Ukraine to ensure their safety.

In statements to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Minister Owais said today, Friday, that the ministry’s website receives any inquiries from students on Ukrainian soil, noting that so far, none of the students in Ukraine has communicated with the ministry.
Minister Awais pointed out that the mechanism for dealing with students in Ukraine will be carried out in accordance with the current situation in Ukraine and to ensure the continuity of preserving their right to the cut study plans, and the extent to which they can continue in their universities or replace it with an appropriate measure to be taken by the Higher Education Council later in accordance with the circumstances estimated by the Ministry in At the time, he indicated that the ministry is concerned with all Jordanian students studying on Ukrainian soil.

He added that the ministry had previously dealt with similar circumstances and directed students to study in other universities to ensure their safety and to preserve their right to complete their studies, pointing out that the ministry is monitoring the situation on the ground in the hope of changes that restore stability for students in Ukraine without the need to resort to other procedures.
