The European Union mission in Amman raised the Ukrainian flag on its building in the capital, Amman, in a sign of its unwavering support for Ukraine in the face of the Russian invasion.

On Thursday, the foreign ministers of the European Union and the Group of Seven (G7) showed a unified position towards sanctions against Russia after it sent troops to eastern Ukraine, and the French Foreign Minister announced unanimous approval of a package of sanctions, which was welcomed by the President of the European Commission.
