Al-Zoubi: 400 Jordanian students in Ukraine

The captain of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate, Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, contacted the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its emergency department this evening to check on the measures that have been taken to preserve, protect, support and support Jordanians in Ukraine, especially students, including engineering students, and to keep them away from danger areas in light of the military escalations that that country is experiencing.
Engineer Samara Al-Zoubi said, in a press statement, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured him that it had taken all measures to provide protection for our students in Ukraine, and contacts were made with various authorities, institutions and countries to keep our students away from danger zones.
He explained that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed him that it is communicating with our Jordanian students in Ukraine, where they have been directed to go towards the safe western regions and away from the eastern regions, which are witnessing a dangerous military escalation.
Al-Zoubi indicated that 400 Jordanian students are now present on Ukrainian soil, out of 700 students studying in that country.
He pointed out that the ministry also informed him that, through the Jordanian embassy in Ankara, it is communicating with Jordanian students and citizens in Ukraine, as Jordanian diplomats have been sent to countries neighboring Ukraine to facilitate the evacuation and evacuation of Jordanians and allow their entry to those countries.
The captain stressed the importance of the measures taken by the ministry, stressing that the Engineers Association will closely follow the measures that will be taken to secure Jordanian students and keep them away from dangers in Ukraine.
