The Independent Election Commission announced that it will publish the preliminary lists of candidates whose candidacy applications have been accepted for the provincial council elections, municipal councils and the Amman Municipality Council on its website, on its website, the day after tomorrow, Saturday and next Sunday.

The commission indicated that the publication of the preliminary lists of candidates came after the completion of the stage of appealing the decisions of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission whose candidacy applications were rejected, in accordance with the provisions of the law.

According to the executive instructions for candidacy for the elections of governorate councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality Council for the year 2021, every voter has the right to appeal the decisions of the Board of Commissioners to accept the candidacy request of any of the candidates within the boundaries of the municipal council or its electoral district before the Court of First Instance in which the municipality / electoral district falls within its jurisdiction, and that Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, February 28, and the first and second of March.
