The new football season 2022 for the Football Association will start tomorrow, Thursday, with the Federation Shield Championship, in which the 12 professional clubs participate.

The draw for the tournament, which took place earlier, resulted in three groups, in which the distribution of teams was as follows:

The first group: Al-Salt, Al-Hussein Irbid, Shabab Aqaba, Al-Sareeh.

The second group: Al-Wehdat, Al-Faisaly, Al-Jazeera, Ma’an.

The third group: Al-Ramtha, Sahab, Shabab Al-Urdun, Mugheer Al-Sarhan.

The Football Association had also previously announced that all matches of this tournament will be held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, due to the maintenance operations that other stadiums are witnessing, in preparation for the league and cup competitions and other tournaments.

The Al-Sareeh and Al-Salt teams will meet tomorrow at 3:00 pm, while the Shabab Al-Aqaba and Al-Hussein Irbid teams will play at 7:00 pm.

Next Friday, Ma’an will play with Al-Wehdat at three in the evening, while Al-Jazirah will play with Al-Faisaly at seven in the evening.

It is noteworthy that this tournament will start tomorrow without its title holder, the Al-Jalil team, which was relegated to the ranks of the Premier League clubs.
