After it took about 3 years to build, the largest cruise ship in the world, dubbed “Marvel of the Seas”, is preparing to receive passengers.

The ship, which was delivered last January to the American company “Royal Caribbean”, is 362 meters high, and it is scheduled to start its maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the Caribbean, on March 4.

The ship was scheduled to be delivered in 2021, but this was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.

The 18-storey cruise ship was built at a shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, and can accommodate 6,988 guests and 2,300 crew members.

The giant ship consists of 8 areas, one of which contains more than 20,000 plants, and has the longest waterslide in the sea, as well as a 10-storey free-slide line, and a huge cinema screen.

Ticket prices range from $760 to $1,200, depending on the flight duration and route.

One of the conditions of the trip is that all passengers over the age of 12 must have the Corona vaccine, and that children over the age of two years have a negative test result for the virus before sailing.

All travelers must also wear a mask in most indoor public places, according to the recommendations of health authorities in the United States.
