The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority confirmed that it will continue to implement monitoring campaigns to correct the conditions of commercial establishments in Aqaba.
The Commissioner for City and Regional Affairs in the Authority, Dr. Nidal Al-Majali, stated today, Tuesday, that the continuation of the control campaigns comes to ensure the practice of commercial activity within the laws and instructions regulating the work of these facilities in the city of Aqaba.
Al-Majali said that the authority decided to grant unlicensed shops in Al-Mahdood Street, the commercial center and all areas of the Qasaba Aqaba an additional 14-day period for the purpose of correcting their situation and obtaining the necessary certificates to practice commercial activity. To avoid taking legal action to close it.
And he indicated that the authority has exhausted all awareness and preventive measures against these stores with the need to correct their situation during the past months by the cadres of the Directorate of General Control and Implementation, by sending verbal and written warnings at intervals; To avoid legal procedures to close facilities.
