The captain of the owners of fuel stations and gas depots, Eng. Nahar Al-Saeedat, revealed the suspicion of embezzlement of funds from the union through fraudulent financial receipts.

Al-Saeedat added that there was fraud with signatures related to the financial report issued by the Syndicate’s board of directors, and fraud in bank statements.

He pointed out that an auditing company was assigned to review all financial files, and an audit committee was formed, and as a result, all abuses were exposed, and the case is now before the Public Prosecutor until he takes the appropriate legal action.

Al-Saeedat pointed out that both the company’s report and the committee’s report accused the accountant only on suspicion of embezzlement of an amount of approximately 66,800 dinars.
