Today, Tuesday, the Kingdom recorded 18 deaths and 9117 new cases of corona, while the rate of positive tests reached 21.65%.

According to the media summary of the Ministry of Health, the total number has risen to 13,731 deaths and 1591,278 injuries.

The summary indicated that the number of currently active cases reached 145,399 cases, while the number of cases admitted, today, to hospitals, reached 162 cases, and the number of cases that left hospitals 194 cases, while the total number of confirmed cases receiving treatment in hospitals reached 978 cases.

The summary showed that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 19 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 34 percent, while the occupancy rate of artificial respirators in the same region was 13 percent.

He added that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the central region reached 23 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds in the same region reached 37 percent, and the occupancy rate of artificial respirators reached 16 percent.

In the southern region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 15 percent, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 21 percent, and the occupancy rate of artificial respirators in the same region was 14 percent.

The summary indicated that 17,550 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of expected recovery cases after the end of the isolation period to 1432,148 cases.

He also indicated that 42,117 examinations were conducted, bringing the total number of examinations conducted since the beginning of the epidemic to 1,602,203 examinations.
