Today, Saturday, the Legal Committee of the House of Representatives announced that it has completed a proposal to amend the House’s bylaws.

In the proposed amendments, the election of the president and his permanent office for a full solar year, in addition to the procedures for electing the president and the permanent office, and their timing.

The amendments to the rules of procedure raised the number of the council’s permanent committees from 14 to 20, and distributed new tasks to the committees according to their competencies. It also raised the number of permanent committees’ members from 5-11 to between 7-13 members.

Under the amendments, the members of the parliamentary committees of brotherhood and friendship associations are limited to between 7 and 13 members, provided that the formation is done by the proportional representation of the blocs, and the representative has the right to register in one committee or association.

The amendments also included organizing discussion during parliament sessions regarding discussions, interventions and responses under the dome. (Hala news)
