The average precipitation rises to 65.2%

The recent depression raised the volume of cumulative rain falling from the beginning of the season on all governorates of the Kingdom until Sunday morning to (65.2%) about (5343.8) million cubic meters out of the long-term annual rate of (8.1) billion cubic meters.
According to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the highest percentage of precipitation was recorded during the past 24 hours in Al-Rajef / Ma’an station (17.6) mm, as the quantities of water entering the dams amounted to about (745) thousand cubic meters during the past 24 hours. The storage of dams this morning reached (77,5) million m3, with a total storage rate of (27.6%).
Regarding precipitation rates, it showed that its monitoring stations recorded in Aqaba Governorate (11.5 mm), Tafileh (7.8) mm, Ma’an (8.3 mm), Karak (6.4 mm) and the capital Amman (0.1 mm). Balqa (0.1 mm), Madaba (1) mm, Zarqa (1) mm, Jerash (0.1 mm), Mafraq (0.3 mm), Irbid (0.1 mm), Ajloun (1) mm .
She noted that the precipitation rates in the Kingdom until this morning amounted to the general average of precipitation in Irbid (74.4%), Ajloun (68.5%), Jerash (42.1%), Mafraq (42.8% and Amman (78%). ), Salt (86%), Madaba (56.2%), Karak (51.7%), Tafileh (37.5%), Shobak (35.8%), Ma’an (61%), Aqaba (183) 8%).
