The Civil Consumer Corporation confirmed that it has completed its preparations to receive the blessed month of Ramadan, by purchasing all the commodities that consumers demand for them during the holy month.

The Director General of the Corporation, Salman Al-Qudah, indicated in a statement issued today, Saturday, that the goods were subjected to laboratory tests at the Food and Drug Corporation, while they are being supplied to the Corporation’s warehouses in Khu / Zarqa; In preparation for its presentation in the institution’s markets during the last third of next March.

The judges pointed out that the prices of Ramadan commodities for this year will be at the same prices as last year, with some commodities that will be sold at lower prices than last year’s prices, adding that large quantities of these commodities were purchased in anticipation of the expected demand from citizens, and to provide a safe strategic stock of those commodities. To ensure that it is not interrupted during the holy month.

He stressed that all Ramadan goods (heart nuts, almonds of all kinds, dates in all forms, Qamar al-Din, coconut, soups, juices, raisins and cream) will be offered before the coming of the blessed month so that citizens can buy these goods with ease, knowing that the prices of these goods will be At the same price levels for the month of Ramadan last year, in addition to the availability of basic food commodities in the institution’s markets throughout the year.

And the judges indicated that the process of purchasing Ramadan goods was diversified, by purchasing from more than one “brand” of the same item to allow citizens to choose the right item for them, pointing out that the selling prices of rice, sugar, other basic materials and food commodities will be fixed and the prices of any items will not be raised. commodity during the blessed month.

It is noteworthy that the Corporation continues the policy of providing promotional offers and reducing prices at the end of each month, which coincides with the payment of salaries to employees in the public and private sectors.
