A driver was seriously injured after a diesel tanker collapsed near the descent of a shop towards Aqaba.

The Department of Foreign Patrols said that the injured person was taken to the hospital, adding that the accident closed the right lane of the road.

The external patrols called on drivers to be careful while walking on the external roads, due to the impact of the weather in the jurisdiction areas.

It also called on road users to follow the instructions of the patrolman at the site until the remnants of the accident are removed.
