Today, Saturday, rescue cadres in the Karak Civil Defense Directorate dealt with many cases of water suction inside houses that were stormed by rainwater in a number of areas of the Karak governorate, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.

The media spokesman added that the rescue teams worked on suctioning the water using “suction motors” for such accidents, noting that there were no casualties.

And the Public Security Directorate had confirmed that, given the unstable weather the Kingdom is witnessing, it calls on citizens to take the utmost care and caution, especially within the southern region, where some regions witness snowfall from time to time, in addition to the eastern regions of the Kingdom, which witness dust, fog and low visibility. .

She called on citizens to follow the following guidelines:

1- Stay away from the sides of the valleys and places where torrents form.

2- Moving from low places to safer high places.

3- Not to take the risk of blocking the road, whether on foot or in vehicles, in case the water level rises.

4- Safe use of heating devices of all kinds.

5- Do not hesitate to call the unified emergency number (911) if the need arises.
