Because of normalization, Roya TV and Hamada restaurants withdraw from sponsoring the “Baha Rally”

Roya TV and Hamada Restaurants Group announced, Thursday evening, that they withdrew from sponsoring the “Baha Rally”, in refusal to normalize, after 13 Israelis participated in this race, which started today, in the Ayla area in the city of Aqaba, in the south of the Kingdom.
In the same context, the BDS movement rejected the participation of the Israeli runners in this race, calling on the participants to withdraw.
The movement said in a statement, “We, the free Arab peoples, reject normalization and cooperation with the occupation in any way, and we condemn hosting 13 Israeli participants between a rider and an assistant, and we denounce the fact that a group of institutions sponsored the rally.” In support of the Palestinian cause, and respect for the history of the athletes.
It is noteworthy that the activities of this global race, in which competitors from 20 countries participate, constitute the first round of the Middle East Cup for Short Cross Country Rally – FIA – Baja, for the 2022 season, and the second round of the World Cup for Short Cross Country Rally – FIA – Baja, and the first round of The World Championships for Motorcycles and Quads Category – FEM – BAHA, and the Jordan Baja National Rally.
