Syrian media reports confirmed that the former coach of the Syrian national football team, Vital Borkelmans, is approaching the task of coaching the first Syrian national football team, nicknamed “Nesour Qasioun.”

According to these media reports, the temporary committee of the Syrian Football Association is heading to contract with Vital, after its last decision about 4 days ago, to dismiss the technical staff of the team led by Romanian Tita Valero, hours after the loss against South Korea with two goals without a response, within the eighth round.
