Muhammad Alwan, the uncle of the young Jordanian woman, Esraa Al-Tayeh, confirmed that the medical device required to treat her rare health condition arrived on Sunday evening, after blocking the procedures followed by the Customs Department and the Food and Drug General Organization.

According to Alwan, the young woman, Esraa, suffers from EPS, which needs a medical device (pump) that is not available in Jordan.

Al-Tayeh earlier appealed to the competent authorities in Jordan to intervene in resolving her case and allow her to introduce medical treatment that could not be found in Jordan, through an influential message she posted on her page on the “Facebook” platform.
