Compass – Within the framework of the strategic partnership for sustainable development between the public and private sectors, and in response to the increasing demand for student housing, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University has put forward an investment opportunity according to the “DBOT” system, with the aim of establishing internal housing for students on the land allocated for the university.

Speaking about this investment opportunity, the President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Prof. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, said that in light of the development witnessed by the university in various fields, including the increase in the number of students from different Jordanian governorates, and in response to the needs of students in the presence of comfortable housing according to modern standards, came This is an investment opportunity that will achieve competitiveness and the required quality of housing for university students, and their need for comfortable and safe housing supervised by the university throughout their stay in it.

Al-Kharabsheh indicated that the implementation of this project will be in phases, starting with the first phase with buildings that can achieve residence for (1,000) students.

Kharabsheh added that the partnership with the private sector will contribute to obtaining financing, increasing knowledge, transferring technology, building capabilities, and obtaining an advanced classification for the university, and it is possible that the partnership between the university and the private sector will become a tool for providing more quality infrastructure services and more efficiency and sustainability to provide services Public services such as energy, transportation, housing and health care.
