The Mafraq Criminal Court of First Instance fined two people with a value of 1,000 dinars and fees, for exposing society to the risk of the spread of the new Corona virus.

Today, Sunday, the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council said that the two people were convicted of violating home isolation measures for Corona patients, and a fine of 500 dinars was imposed on each of them.

She added that the court is now considering 4 other cases related to people’s violation of home isolation measures for people infected with Corona.

And she indicated that the courts are strict against the perpetrators of such violations, because the damage is great and severe to society, and such illegal practices help spread infection and epidemic among the population, endanger their lives and undermine efforts to stop the spread of the Corona virus and its many variants.
