The coach of Al-Wehdat team, Brazilian coach Josefán Vieira, confirmed that his approval to train Al-Akhdar came in light of his sporting history and his obtaining an honorable record of championships.

Vieira added, during the press conference held by Al-Wehdat Club, to present the technical staff, in its sports complex in Ghamdan, in the presence of the club’s president, Dr. Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, and members of the board of directors, that the units owned by Al-Wehdat have a broad fan base, in addition to obtaining the Asian license to participate in the AFC Champions League, It is also what prompted him to accept the offer of units.

He pointed out that the team has ambition, challenge and will, and its management has a far-reaching view, indicating that these matters combined made Al-Wehdat Club admired and preferred it over many offers from South Africa and the Arab teams.

Vieira stressed that he and the staff aspire to make the club’s management and loyal fans happy.

For his part, Al-Hawamdeh confirmed that the contract with Vieira and his assistants Joe Silvano and Carlos Henrico is an embodiment of the vision of the professional board of directors’ work to achieve the aspirations of the club’s fans and fans and an affirmation of the club’s message that the current season will be “unity” with distinction.

Al-Hawamdeh added that the contract with Vieira confirms the aspirations for the football season, whether in local or continental competitions, indicating that what encouraged us to contract him, is our belief that he is able to enrich the Al-Wehdat team with his experience, style and tactics and provide a team that matches the aspirations of the unit management and its wide audience.
