Anna Popova, head of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection, “Ros Potrebnadzor”, said that during his conversations, the Corona virus lost the ability to penetrate the tissues of the lungs.

The expert stressed that the “Omicron” mutant mainly affects the upper respiratory organs and does not cause a severe course of the disease.

Popova added: “Scientists from different countries, as well as studies in Russia, say that this virus is constantly changing, this is its nature and he cannot live without it. This virus is looking for the best form in which to adapt to the human body. The better amino acids, the virus has lost one of its receptors, which ensures it is able to penetrate lung tissue.”

Popova explained, that the coronavirus currently affects mainly the upper respiratory organs, causing bronchitis, as well as bronchitis in children.

The expert stressed that “Omicron” no longer causes heavy transmission of the disease, but it is still ambiguous how its complications will be after that, because it has not been long since the appearance of this mutant.
