His Majesty King Abdullah II met today, Wednesday, with the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, who conveyed to His Majesty the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. During the meeting, His Majesty stressed the strength of the distinguished fraternal relations that unite Jordan and Saudi Arabia, conveying the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince.

His Majesty affirmed Jordan’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Saudi Arabia in all fields, praising the existing level of coordination.

His Majesty the King reiterated his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Jordan and the region.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez, and the Saudi ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairy.
