Inspired by Disney movies

Tariq Shuaib, a young man in his thirties, told Al-Youm Al-Sabaa that he worked in the field of murals in the UAE after graduating from the College of Art several years ago.

He continued, “I worked in the field of murals and participated in more than one exhibition of paintings from a period when I wanted to renew my work, and Dima drew my attention to artworks and sculptures in palaces and Disney films.”

As for Tarek’s choice of calm colors and beautiful forms of plants and flowers, he said: “The most interesting thing that attracts me and attracts my attention is the plant sculpture and flowers. I love roses very much, so I went on the Internet and read about the components of ceramic dough. I had a great passion and the dough worked on wood pieces. I liked the idea.”

He added that he started using ceramic paste as a preliminary experiment on some of the frames of some of his paintings and frames, and added about the idea that won admiration and gained great popularity on the social media, which is the use of ceramic paste on the walls, he said: “I did not decide to implement it on the wall, and once in a while I started doing a nice job. And all people like it, and I felt that I met a need to be distinguished in it, and I gained a lot of experience from continuing, of course, and the new ideas that I do, and every period I try to renew.”
