The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lawyer Abdel Karim Al-Daghmi, decided to postpone the session of the House of Representatives that is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, to a date to be determined later.

This is the second postponement of the eighth (oversight) session that was scheduled to be held on Monday and then postponed to Wednesday.

For its part, the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives attributed the reasons for postponing the supervisory session scheduled for Wednesday to the epidemiological situation and the great spread of the Corona virus.

The decision to postpone, according to the Secretariat, came due to the infection of a number of ministers, some parliamentarians, and a large number of employees, with the Corona virus, which necessitated reducing the staff time by 50 percent and postponing the session for the purposes of sterilizing the building and the parliament dome.
