The Compass – The Ministry of Education has circulated, to all directorates and principals of private schools, to abide by the decision of the Council of Ministers and the school calendar regarding the start of the teaching process for the second semester, which is scheduled for next February 20.
The Director of the Private Education Department at the Ministry of Education, Muhammad Alwan, stressed “the need for private schools to abide by the decision that includes the start of teaching for the second semester on the 20th of next month, with the exception of high school students and international programs.”
He explained that “the ministry received several observations about private schools that will provide reinforcement classes and educational missing persons during the coming period,” noting that “the ministry does not prevent this as long as it is not face-to-face, and is not binding on the student or guardian, and is not considered part of the student’s classes in face-to-face education for the second semester. “.
Alwan stressed that “education during the second semester will be face-to-face,” calling for “providing the ministry with any messages or decisions from private schools calling on students to enroll in teaching before February 20.”
He stressed that the ministry “will not hesitate to take the appropriate measures and take measures against any school that does not comply with the decision issued by the Council of Ministers through the official address with the concerned school and then the procedure according to the case.”
