Today, Monday, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Health Affairs and the Corona file, Dr. Adel Al-Balbisi, called on Jordanians not to fear and panic about the BA2 sub-mutant, stressing that the Ministry of Health “is able to discover it and it is not a new mutant.”

According to Al-Belbeisi, the tests conducted by the ministry are able to detect the new omicron BA2 and BA1 mutant, stressing that the treatment is the same and the preventive measures are the same.

It is reported that the new mutant is present in more than 70 countries and is part of the original OMERCON mutant.
