8 million dinars, profits of the Hajj Fund in 2021

The net profit of the Jordanian Hajj Fund amounted to 8.175 million dinars during the past year, with a profit rate of 3.95%, while these profits will be distributed to savers and the secretariats of Hajj and Umrah affairs, according to what the fund announced.
This came during a session held by the fund today, Sunday, headed by the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sanctuaries, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, and in the presence of the Director General of the Fund, Fouad Corey, and members of the Board.
Al-Khalayleh stressed that the Fund witnessed a remarkable increase in the growth rate of the number of savers and the amounts of savings, as the number of savers in 2020 was about 45,400 savers, while last year it reached 50,600, with a growth rate of 11%.
He added that the amounts of savings in the year 2020 amounted to 165 million and 949 thousand dinars, which rose during the past year to 211 million and 562 thousand dinars, with a growth rate of 27%, stressing that the growth achieved is due to the high confidence and credibility enjoyed by the Fund and the good management of the investment of its funds.
Al-Khalayleh indicated that the Fund’s financial data for the year 2021 will be published in the official newspapers based on Article (18) of the Hajj Fund Regulations, in addition to its publication on the Fund’s website.
