Today, Monday, Al-Wehdat Club confirmed its continuation to participate in the Basketball Association championships.

This comes in the wake of a crisis between the club and the federation due to the selection of a referee to manage the Al-Wehdat and Orthodox meeting, accusing Al-Wehdat of making mistakes in a previous meeting, where Al-Wehdat withdrew from the meeting and was lost.

Today, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Basketball Association, Muhammad Alyan, met with the President of Al-Wehdat Club Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, in the presence of the Vice-President of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Sari Hamdan, at the headquarters of the Federation. all activities of the Federation.

For his part, Alayyan affirmed his keenness to preserve the survival of Al-Wehdat Club in the basketball family and the continuation of the Federation in its role in monitoring matches and applying laws on the principle of impartiality and justice, noting that the request of Al-Wehdat Club will be studied with the help of referees from abroad in the final stage matches, as for the status of banners. In the stadium, it will coordinate with the competent authorities to approve it before each match.
