Jordan’s Rapid Deployment Force leaves for Mali

The Jordanian Rapid Deployment Force, Mali/2, left yesterday evening, Friday, for the mission land to participate in the United Nations (MINUSMA) duty in the Republic of Mali.
Last week, a farewell to the force took place at the peacekeeping forces assembly center, in the presence of the assistant for operations and training, Brigadier General Abdullah Shdeifat.
In a related context, the Jordanian Rapid Deployment Force Mali/1 returned to the homeland, after participating in the United Nations duty (MINUSMA) in the Republic of Mali.
This participation comes within the framework of the Jordanian Armed Forces’ continuation of its work and its participation with the international peacekeeping forces of the United Nations in operations to maintain security, stability and peace and to provide humanitarian aid to affected peoples in various conflict areas in the world.
It is noteworthy that the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army has been participating in the peacekeeping forces in Mali since July 2018, by providing ground support services at Gao Airport in northern Mali.
