The amended civil health insurance system for the year 2022 was issued in the Official Gazette, which reads with the original Regulation No. 83 of 2004.

In the amended system, it was mentioned that the beneficiaries are divided into two groups, the first group includes people whose benefit is covered by the contributor’s monthly contribution allowance, namely: the non-working wife who does not receive a pension, the husband who is not working and who does not receive a pension, and the unemployed single children who have not completed 25-year-olds, single, unemployed children with disabilities or incapacitated health.

The first group also includes single, unemployed and unpaid daughters who have completed 25 years of age, and medically incapacitated parents who are legally supported by the contributor until they reach the age of eighteen.

As for the second group, it includes some people whom the contributor wishes to benefit from with health insurance in return for paying or deducting the specified amount for each of them monthly to the fund, provided that the contributions due from them are paid from the date of issuance of the card to the beneficiary in accordance with the provisions of the system.

Those included in the second group benefit, in return for paying 5 dinars per month for each of: parents, single girls working or receiving a pension, widowed or divorced girls who do not work and do not receive a pension and do not have children or have male children under the age of 25 It also includes unemployed, single male children who have completed the age of 25, and working single children with disabilities or infirm health.

The amendment of the system includes the benefit of some groups for 10 dinars per month, namely: the working wife or the recipient of a pension, the husband who is working or receiving a pension, the single sisters who do not work and do not receive a pension, and the divorced or widowed sisters who do not work and do not receive a pension and do not They have male children under the age of 25, working single male children who have completed 25 years of age, brothers and sisters until they reach 18 years of age, or single brothers and sisters with a disability or health infirm.

The system also includes the benefit of some of those covered for an amount of 15 dinars per month, namely: working single sisters or those who receive a pension and do not have male children under the age of 25, and divorced or widowed working sisters or have male children under the age of 25.
