The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that a security force continued today to collect information about a wanted person in drug trafficking cases and its promotion, after he opened fire at dawn today at a security force that tried to arrest him in Ajloun Governorate.

The media spokesman confirmed that the person was followed up and his location was determined in a bush, and information was received about his attempt to escape in a medical vehicle outside the governorate, accompanied by other wanted persons who tried to help him escape.

He added that when the vehicle carrying the wanted men was followed up and stopped by a security force, three wanted men, including the main wanted man, fired shots at the force, intending to hit the security men.

And the media spokesman indicated that the security force applied the rules of engagement with them, which led to the injury of one of the wanted men and an automatic weapon was seized in his possession, which he used to shoot.
