The Director of Operations in Arab Weather said that the weather maps indicate renewed rainfall in some areas of Jordan on Sunday evening, as initial readings show that it is a state of atmospheric instability.
Al-Tarifi added in his speech to Roya, on Thursday evening, that the weather maps indicate that the Kingdom’s sky is free of clouds, and the skies are clear in most regions of the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the weather continues to be sunny and stable in Jordan throughout the day, Thursday, and the next 48 hours, stressing that there is no significant event affecting the Kingdom during the coming days.
On Thursday, moderate-speed southeasterly winds will blow over the Kingdom, active at times, especially in the mountainous heights and the Shafa Ghoria regions, and they work to increase the sense of cold when active, especially when standing in the shade.
The winds will become variable in direction, light to moderate, with speed on Friday, and return to southeasterly moderate to active speed on Saturday.
Regarding snowfall, Al-Tarifi stressed that it is not possible to talk at the present time about strong weather or snowfall in the coming period.
